Good morning.
Grace and peace be unto you!
Today is Wednesday Word. John 15:13 says, Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one's life for one's friends.
Isn't it interesting that we throw around that term friend so loosely these days. Everyone is not our friend but what happens in critics?
Just a few days ago we saw people lay down their lives for others. There were countless accounts of men stepping into place to protect the women and children. Men that were push women over the barracades to safety. Others that laid there bodies over other while the shots rang out.
This was a dislay of genuine love for humanity. I don't know you but I love you enough that I want you safe. Everytime you want to give up on humanity God allows us to see that deep down there some people that still hear his voice.
The challenge to each of us is how are we going to continue to show genuine agape love to people now that the shock is wearing off? Are we going to override the Holy Spirit when it tells us to move or are we going to just keep on walking? Every situation is a test. Will we pass or fail? If we fail are we ready for the test again? Every failed test in life comes back eventually. Show the love of Jesus to all.
And as always remember to. . . live Blessed
