Upon waking, I ask God what to share with you this morning. He said "Pray for the nation".I will be the first to tell you I don't agree with most of what is happening right now in our government and especially with the political candidates we have before us, but God said pray for them. Because this kind will only come out by fasting and praying. What is this kind? This kind of sin, corruption, evil and deviant behavior. All of us have talked about it but have truly prayed about other?
We have never had a time where we "at peace" but we have so many killed in gun violence. Interesting enough, for however many we have heard about, there are many many more that are totally silent. There is no media coverage, no real investigation and a bogus determination of death. I know we are busy, I know we are on a thousand committees but it is time to pray. Don't wait until it hits your family to hit your knees.
