Monday Motivation

Good morning,
Grace and peace be unto you!

Today is the first day of a new work week, but you need to decide If that is all it is to you, or is day one of your recharge. See it doesn't matter what day you begin your recharge, it just matters that you get plugged in.

I have this cool garmin watch it tells me all kinds of information about my exercise habits, or some days the lack thereof, whole telling me the time. While it has a long batter life every now and then I have to take it off so it can charge up.

My sister take the time to recharge your battery. Find out what gets you fired up. Your electricity might just be what someone else needs to keep going. Decide if today is just the first day of the week or if it's day one of your recharge.

Psalms 116: 1-2 AMP
I love the Lord, because He hears [and continues to hear] My voice and my supplications (my pleas, my cries, my specific needs). Because He has inclined His ear to me, Therefore I will call on Him as long as I live. 

If we are all honest we all want someone who really listens and truly hears what we are saying. Sometimes we even expect other people to be able to read our thoughts and unlike the Lord, they can not. So, it is so good that even if I only cry out within my heart he still hears that cry. But, I am so thankful that as I open my mouth and cry out to God that he always listens.

Whatever you do on a regular basis becomes your habit. The only problem with a habit is you can do it without thinking. I don't know about you but I have been on a mission and my car took me to work. My intended destination was not work, but habit drove me there.

I challenge you to examine your life today. What things in your life are driving you? You don't know why you are doing what your doing its just habit. If said habits are not serving you, building you, and igniting you toward greatness it is time to abandon them. You have to be seeking greater for your life.

Monday Motivation

Everyone has a story. Who is your story supposed to inspire? Way too often we don't share our stories because we are afraid if being judged. There are afraid that role will hold it against them, so we sit on our story/testimony. You didn't go through all of that he'll and survive to sit on it. Somebody in or around your circle of influence needs to hear it. They need to know that they can make it. They need to know that like you, they don't have to look like what they have been through. 

Don't sit on your story/testimony. It is proof of how you can come out if the fire and not smell like where you've been. You might have a scar as a reminder but you came out. Don't hide where you came from because it builds character and lends an experience that can't be gained any other way. 

Telling your story does not mean all the fine details or parts that would incriminate others. It is not your job to ruin other people but for you to share how you overcame. As you tell your story you find new freedom each time. It doesn't matter how many times you have shared there will someone new that hasn't heard you so don't allow familiar faces keep you from sharing.

High and lifted up in all the earth is who you are. High and lifted up in all the earthis who you are. Lord we exalt your name. Lord we exalt your name. Oh Lord we praise you. Oh Lord, high and lifted up.

Can you agree with me today to exalt the Lord higher than your problems? We must stop looking at our problems and start looking to the answer.

Wednesday Word

“No weapon that is formed against you will succeed; And every tongue that rises against you in judgment you will condemn. This [peace, righteousness, security, and triumph over opposition] is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, And this is their vindication from Me,” says the Lord . - Isaiah 54:17

What weapons have been coming against you lately? Anger, impatience, lack of self-control, lust? The list could go on and on. One thing is for sure, if you are doing a work for the Lord the enemy is going to fight the outcome. You notice I didn't say he is going to fight you, but he is fighting the outcome. The enemy never wants to see free and victorious so he will use any method and roll over any person that gets in his way. You are just the vessel that gets the work done. Don't take it personal. He is not trying to kill you personally but the outcome.

The scripture let's us know that weapons of mass destruction have been formed and launched but they won't succeed. Then it goes on to say that all of those that feel like they need your name in their mouth will be condemned. Stop trying to get them told let God handle it.
