Small Steps to Big Changes
Have you made a New Year's resolution only to have broken it? Setting goals to become a better version of ourselves is commendable. Although we can set ourselves up for failure if we set goals that are not practical. To make healthy lifestyle changes that will last a lifetime, we must change our behaviors. In order to do this, look at changing small things that will add up to big changes remember to all.
For example, if you want to lose weight, reflect on your daily intake. Do you drink regular soda? If so, consider changing to a calorie-free beverage. If you choose not to give it up, drink a glass of water in between each soda. This will help keep you hydrated and help decrease the total number of sodas you drink in a day. This is just one idea. Be creative and think about what small steps you can make that will lead to big changes in your life.
