Grace and peace be unto you!
Below is the biblegateway's scripture of the day.
Ephesians 5: 25-26 MSG Husbands, go all out in your love for your wives, exactly as Christ did for the church—a love marked by giving, not getting. Christ’s love makes the church whole. His words evoke her beauty. Everything he does and says is designed to bring the best out of her, dressing her in dazzling white silk, radiant with holiness. And that is how husbands ought to love their wives. They’re really doing themselves a favor—since they’re already “one” in marriage.
Wow, who wouldn't return this kind of love? LOL, the only thing that raised my brow was the word wives. Let's just stick to one. I think some of the lessons from this passage are applicable to other relationships. 1. Love will make us whole. So if we can love others it will make them whole and it will heal the broken places in us. 2. Everything a husband does should be done to bring out the best in his wife. This means there would be no abuse mentally or physically. Beating will never bring out the best. 3. Ladies, we should be dresses with radiance and holiness. 4. If we understand how we are intertwined with others we understand that our love toward them not only blesses them but us as well.
While this is talking to husbands, all of us can ratchet up our love quotient.
Until tomorrow
