Good morning, 
Grace and peace be unto you!

God makes everything come out right; he puts victims back on their feet. He showed Moses how he went about his work, opened up his plans to all Israel. God is sheer mercy and grace; not easily angered, he’s rich in love. He doesn’t endlessly nag and scold, nor hold grudges forever. He doesn’t treat us as our sins deserve, nor pay us back in full for our wrongs. As high as heaven is over the earth, so strong is his love to those who fear him. And as far as sunrise is from sunset, he has separated us from our sins. As parents feel for their children, God feels for those who fear him. He knows us inside and out, keeps in mind that we’re made of mud. Men and women don’t live very long; like wildflowers, they spring up and blossom, But a storm snuffs them out just as quickly, leaving nothing to show they were here. God’s love, though, is ever and always, eternally present to all who fear him, Making everything right for them and their children as they follow his Covenant ways and remember to do whatever he said.

Psalm 103:17-18 MSG

This scripture encouraged my spirit this morning. Yes, I will make mistakes and go the wrong direction but God in his infinite love and mercy will get me back on track and love me all the way. He won't throw my mess ups in my face. He isn't constantly reminding me that I have failed. He simply loves me back into covenant with him. When I am said he cheers me because his emotions don't waver like mine. He knows me and you inside and out. There is nothing that is hidden. Help me God to be that open book to you. Read every page and help it to align with you.

No rain yesterday and today the sun is shining. The lesson... don't get stuck in/on the rainy days cause the sun is just behind the clouds. Yes, it is easy to be gloomy and feel down when life is beating your head but I just want you to remember that the son will rise in your life. Yes, the son will make a difference in your thoughts, feelings, and outlook. When you get enough of the son, the sun will shine a little brighter.

It is so easy to get frustrated when space, time, and your plans don't align. If you will allow me to interject another thought here. Maybe God is allowing things to misalign just enough that you have to trust him. Don't give up, just stop trying to drive. Let him be the captain of the ship.

Romans 5:55 And hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us. 

Wow, what a difference a day makes. Today the sun is out and shining bright after all of that crazy rain. Such is life. The storm and rain will come  but there is hope for a brighter and better day. Hope a little word with big possibilities behind it. Keep your hope elevated and exercised.

Transformation Tuesday

As you are traveling along your transformational journey don't allow people to seed your mind with negativity when you are tired. It is easy to fight slick/negative comments when you are rested, and on your game,  but when you are tired you can slip up and let seeds get planted in your spirit that are not designed for you.

Even Jesus had to take some time away from everybody to get his head together. Find you a place that renews you so you can fight another day. Strong people get tired and need to be renewed too.

Monday Motivation

I read a proverb that said from tree millions of match sticks can be made but one match stick can burn down a million trees. While I'm not advocating arson I am going to ask you what are you doing with your fire?  Yes, fire can burn down thing but it can also heat up things. I hate being cold so heat is important. Cooked food is a plus so a fire is handy. Any good thing can be used for bad, ie, the internet but put in the right hands, new technologies are made to save lives.

Put your time, talent, and treasure and to use in a way that illuminates a path for you and others. Be the Harriet Tubman others talk about. Leas people to financial, mental, and spiritual freedom. You have a match to strike inside you. Don't trip that it might be small. Remember, when it is totally dark it only takes a little light to see. Shine my sistah, shine.

It has finally warmed up and the rain has stopped for now. Make this the best Friday ever. Take the time to do something today for you. Meditate, take a walk, get a massage, eat lunch in the park, or something that makes you smile. #fridayfocus. #mentalhealthawareness

Ephesians 6: 13 Be prepared. You're up against far more than you can handle on your own. Take all the help you can get, every weapon God has issued, so that when it's all over but the shouting you'll still be on your feet.

14 Truth, righteousness, 

15 peace, 

16 faith, 

17 and salvation are more than words. Learn how to apply them. You'll need them throughout your life. God's Word is an indispensable weapon.

My brothers and sisters, keep pushing through whatever trial you are currently facing. Yes, I know it is dark and you have a lot of questions but keep pushing. You are not alone. Utilize the help that you get not only from God but from your circle. If you don't have one, then this is a good time to build one. You can not do this alone.

No matter what you think you see, nobody is perfect. It is really easy to get sidetracked by what you think you see. No, my butt might not be hanging out but that doesn't mean everything is perfect. In this life, you and I will have trials but it's part of living in the world. Nothing strange or comically wrong with you. It's just life. The difference is how you chose to walk through your trouble. Be encouraged today. You are not alone.

Holidays are man made ways to "celebrate" various events but what if it doesn't fit? What if Im not a mom, I had a horrible, and I don't have women in my life that have filled that role? What if I'm single and it's valentine's day? Don't get me wrong I never turn down opportunities to get gifts but why do we fall into the trap of these holidays?

If you have a great mom celebrate her everyday. If you have a good husband valentine's isn't neccessary because you love every day. Great bosses should be celebrated. Don't wait until a man made holiday to extend your appreciation and your dollars.

Stay focused. You never know when someone  close to you will be called from this life. Celebrate while you can, every day that you can.

Today is a day of endless possibilities. What are you going to do with your opportunities? Somebody didn't wake up. Others woke up and found they could no longer function in the way that they did yesterday. What are you going to do with your able bodies self? What does will open? What hurdles will you jump over? What goals will you obliterate today?

Love, the opportunities are all yours will you use them or lose them? I feel a more than a conqueror in my spirit today. Who are you? Don't take no for an answer. Don't lay down and accept defeat. You were made for this. Fight, kick, scratch until you reach your destiny. Sis, I'm excited about your future.

Revelations 3:11 I am coming soon. Hold fast what you have, so that no one may seize your crown.

The more you watch around there are so many things that are being fulfilled. People are lovers of themselves more than of God. There is no regard for elders. 

Revelations just remind us that Jesus is coming back soon. Too often we blow this off because we think of the time when everyone goes, however, if you die today your world has come to an end. Prepare yourself for your end. He is coming soon. If your number has not been called then hold fast to your faith and the revelation that you have gained. Don't let false teaching and/or false teachers get you sidetracked and you miss out on your crown. Hold fast and stay focused.

On last night many of us in Kansas experienced tremendous storms. Some had tornados, others hail, and other just rain. While we don't really enjoy storms, they do brew up in our world. Today, I want to encourage you to sit back and watch the storm. See the beauty that is within the rolling clouds and bursts of lightning. Hear the patting of the rain on the ground. Smell the washing away of the dust and allergens. Feel the changes in the wind and the pressure in the air. You see while there was an awful storm last night today everything looks a little brighter and a little greener. Such is life.

If we are afraid of the storms that are happening around us we will be stuck, but if we embrace that the storms come to clear away the dust and the things that no longer serve is we will welcome the storms. Palm trees bend but they pop right back up. Be a palm today.

Yes, everyone one of us can use some prayer. Every last one of us has some situation in which we need the power of God to be applied to. If you have nothing, feel free to ask God to bless me.
