Grace and peace be unto you!
It is so interesting to me how we don't always pay attention to things that are hidden in plain sight. We get so busy being busy that we miss the things that should be so blatant in our lives. When I got up this song was swirling around in my head.
Great is Thy faithfulness
O God my Father
There is no shadow of turning with Thee
Thou changest not
Thy compassions they fail not
As Thou hast been
Thou forever will be
O God my Father
There is no shadow of turning with Thee
Thou changest not
Thy compassions they fail not
As Thou hast been
Thou forever will be
Great is Thy faithfulness
Great is Thy faithfulness
Morning by morning new mercies I see
And all I have needed Thy hand hath provided
Great is Thy faithfulness
Lord unto me
Great is Thy faithfulness
Morning by morning new mercies I see
And all I have needed Thy hand hath provided
Great is Thy faithfulness
Lord unto me
Pardon for sin
And a peace that endureth
Thine own dear presence to cheer
And to guide
Strength for today
and bright hope for tomorrow
Blessings all mine, with ten thousand beside
And a peace that endureth
Thine own dear presence to cheer
And to guide
Strength for today
and bright hope for tomorrow
Blessings all mine, with ten thousand beside
See no matter how jacked up you and I are GOD is still faithful. Faithful to forgive, to love, and to heal. No matter how hard are we are on ourselves he comes to show us that he is love. He brings people into our lives that are there to extend that love to us in a tangible way.
Too often in our pain, we shut people out because it is safer but it is NOT more helpful. It just perpetuates the loss and emptiness inside. Even in our darkest hour God will show that will the storm is pouring down over your head he can be calm. No, I won't lie to you. Hurt is real and its nothing to be swept under the rug but everything has a season. While it sucks there is a season that we all must experience pain, disappointment, rejection, and other discomforts so that we don't forget that we don't float on water. Friends, as we head into the eleventh month of 2018, let's really consider our wins and losses for this year. I would venture to say that most of us have had more wins than losses but the losses loom larger in our lives. Let's look and grateful for God's faithfulness in our lives.
Until tomorrow
#liveBlessed
